For the first time in the eleven year existence of A.MA Records a live album graces the catalogue with a recording of the Bastian Menz Trio captured in concert in Hamburg in 2024. The album, Everything in Between, is a 9 track exploration of improvisational Jazz that is a moment in time, encapsulating the relationship between the audience, the trio and the individual musicians. The inter-play between the artists and their on the spot solos and explorations of the possibilities that exist when performers take well crafted and beautifully arranged pieces and run with them is magnificently highlighted across the whole 55 minutes of extraordinary musicianship.                                                                                           

Berlin based drummer and composer Bastian Menz formed his trio having worked with such luminaries as Reuben Rogers, Charlie Porter, Lutz, Krajenski, and Nils Landgren among others. Joined by Virgin Islander Reuben Rogers on Bass, who has worked with Wynton Marsalis, Roy Hargrove, Jackie McLean and Dianne Reeves, and rising star and award winning artist Konstantin Herleinsberger on Tenor and Soprano sax Bastian Menz has created a trio that excels in live performances and none more so than on Everything In Between.                                                 This is jazz performance at its most exposed, at its most exploratory, at its most improvisational and at its most direct.
