Jordan Corda, a vibraphonist from Cagliari born in 1994, began his studies in drums and classical percussion at the “G. P. Da Palestrina” Conservatory in Cagliari, then specialized in jazz and graduated with top marks in jazz vibraphone at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan and subsequently at the Luisa D’Annunzio Conservatory in Pescara.

He actively collaborates with internationally renowned artists such as Luca Mannutza, Sasha Mashin, Max Ionata, Paolo Recchia, Makar Novikov, Tony Pancella, Gianni Cazzola, Enrico Bracco, Attilio Zanchi, Tino Tracanna, Pino Jodice, to name just a few, and has performed at some of the most prestigious Italian and international jazz festivals, including Pescara Jazz, Time in Jazz, Il Jazz Italiano per le Terre del Sisma, Jazz’n Fall, the European Jazz Expo, CalaGonone Jazz Festival, JazzMi, Tuscia in Jazz, JazzBook in Bucharest, the Blue Note in Milan, the Jazz Festival of the Abbeys, the Johnny Răducanu Jazz Festival in Romania, the Casa degli Italiani in Barcelona, and many others, appearing on some of the most important stages of Italian theaters.
He has collaborated with several major Italian jazz orchestras, in particular the Sardegna Jazz Orchestra, the Verdi Jazz Orchestra, the AreaM Jazz Orchestra, and the ONJ. He is the winner with his trio of the international jazz award “Johnny Răducanu” in Brăila (Romania), the Audience Award as a soloist at the National Competition “Chicco Bettinardi,” and the Isio Saba Award in Cagliari.
In 2019, he was invited to represent jazz vibraphone at the “Night of the Vibraphones – Tribute to Milt Jackson” together with Andrea Dulbecco and the Americans David Friedman and Tony Miceli, leading Italian and international figures of this instrument.
