Welcome to OOPARTS (Out of Plan Artists), the new concept album from drummer and beat maker Edigio Rondinone.  Leading the album's eclectic set of contemporary and genre crossing tracks are the lead singles Supa Dupa, featuring the stunning vocals of Emma D'Erasmo and Gold Diggers, aided and abetted by the legendary trombonist and Nicola Conte collaborator, Gianluca Petrella.  Both these tracks have club and dancefloor coursing through them and are portents for the crossover and wider appeal of OOPARTS as an album for the DJ, the dancer, the listener and the lover of music inspired by Hip-Hop, House, Afro-Rhythms and Jazz.

Emerging from a proposal by Egidio to create an album using samples from the A.MA Records back catalogue the album's artistic line-up includes US Linnstrumentalist Fontaine Burnett, the aforementioned Gianluca Petrella, Valentina Magaletti, Milena Jancuric and Sanja Markovic (to name just five) in an international flavour of modern and diverse sounds.

Egidio's musical pedigree as a drummer and beatmaker is highlighted by his work with Paolo Achenza Trio, Zona45, Pooglia Tribe and US legend Greg Osby.  Edigio has also contributed to  cinema soundtracks with production on Articolo31's Senza Problemi for the film Senza Filtro and has future projects scheduled with De La Soul guest artist and Macy Gray tour musician Matt Demerritt.
